The Del Norte County Recreation Department is looking for players in its adult and teen basketball leagues.

The deadline to register for the adult league is Sunday, while teen registrations are being held through March 13, according to a county press release.

Referees are also needed.

Adult basketball is for people 18 years old and older. The season consists of 10 games plus playoffs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at in the large gym at Del Norte High School.

The cost is $600 per team or $75 for single players who want to be free agents.

The teen leagues is for ages 13-18 and focuses on growing an understanding of the sport, according to the county. The cost is $200 per team, which consists of eight players, and $25 for an additional player.

Single players can also sign up for the teen league as a free agent for $25. Games are on Monday and Wednesday at the Crescent Elk Middle School big gym.
