Uncooperative Man Arrested for Making Criminal Threats, Resisting Arrest at Crescent City Business, Police Say

On 5/23/2020, at about 1111 hours, Crescent City Police Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Hwy 101 North for the report of a subject causing a disturbance at a business.
The subject was being disruptive, refusing to leave and threatening employees. Employee’s were able to remove the subject from the business and he continued to try to regain entry.
Officers were on scene quickly and located the suspect, Richard Bushey (Age 34), in the vicinity. When Officers contacted Bushey he was uncooperative and physically resisted the officers.
Bushey was taken into custody and booked into the Del Norte County Jail for 602PC Trespassing, 422PC Criminal Threats, and 69PC Resisting Arrest by Violence. Officers sustained minor injuries during the incident and returned to duty.
