Logging Truck Overturns on Highway 199 Near Idlewild

A logging truck overturned on Highway 199 near Idlewild shortly before 6 a.m. this morning, spilling a load of timber across the raodway that temporarily blocked traffic.

According to the Califonira Highway Patrol incident report, the driver was uninjured in the crash.

Caltrans was called to the scene to help clear the logs and roughly 5 to 10 gallons of fuel from the highway.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. All lanes have been reopened and traffic is flowing in the area.
