Alexandre Dairy, Crescent City to be Featured At Virtual Economic Development Summit

Don't Miss the Redwood Coast Region Economic Development Virtual Conference, September 22nd and 23rd. On Thursday the 22nd you'll hear from a great lineup of keynote speakers during the first day of the summit, including State Senator Mike McGuire talking about the future of California while Visit California's President, Caroline Beteta, will talk about the future of tourism in our golden state.
Friday, Sept. 23rd will feature multiple breakout sessions addressing topics you'll want to know about, including Alexandre Family Farm and the City of Crescent City. As one of the breakout sessions during Friday's lineup, Blake Alexandre of Alexandre Family Farm will talk about the Regenerative Organic Process - they are now designated Regenerative Organic Certified with a commitment to Farm like the world depends on it. The three pillars of Regenerative Organic Certified: Soil Health, Animal Welfare and social fairness.
Another breakout session will be Crescent City's City Manager, Eric Wier, who will present Crescent City's plans to turn Beachfront Park into a world class designation, showcasing our wealth of natural beauty and assets through the 8 million dollars in grants the City has been awarded.

Inperson Mixer: As part of this two-day event, you are invited to attend an in-person mixer at the Cultural Center on Thursday night, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. During this in-person mixer you will hear more about the Virtual Mixer, as well as from area businesses and the City of Crescent City on exciting things going on in our community.
No cost to attend, refreshments and door prizes included at the Cultural Center - 1001 Front Street, Crescent City. During the inperson mixer you'll hear from Blake Alexandre and Eric Wier, along with Joby Rumiano of Rumiano Cheese Company who will talk about Rumiano Cheese and what it means to be committed to the health of the planet and to future generations.
Also during the mixer, Mimi Stephen owner of Bayside Realty is celebrating 35 years in business and will showcase her team and what they have done right through the years.
Crescent City Police Chief Richard Griffin will be there to talk to business owners about ways they can most effectively keep their businesses safe for their customers and the Chamber of Commerce will introduce to the community the faces behind the Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors and Chamber Ambassadors who volunteer their time and energies into keeping the Chamber going strong for all businesses, nonprofits and citizens in Del Norte County.
