Community and health leaders in Curry County will host a virtual town hall meeting focusing on the COVID-19 surge Wednesday.

This meeting will include public health representatives as well as representatives of the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, school district and faith communities, according to a news release from the Wild Rivers Community Foundation.

From a WRCF news release Monday:

This is one of the most challenging times our community has faced and we appreciate the dedication and hard work of our first responders, medical staff and health care workers in Curry County. The Town Hall meeting kicks off a community-wide effort to share critical information with everyone and discuss opportunities for community safety.
