Del Norte COVID-19 Update: Seven New Cases Identified

Seven new COVID-19 cases were identified in Del Norte County on Friday, making for a total of 16 active cases in the county currently, the Public Health Branch reported.
The new cases are an increase from four on Thursday and three identified on Wednesday and Tuesday, according to the county’s COVID-19 Information Hub. There is currently one person in the hospital, according to the Public Health Branch.
Del Norte County has seen a total of 1,502 novel coronavirus cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. Eight people have died from complications of COVID-19, according to the Public Health Branch.
