Del Norte COVID-19 Update: 22 New Cases Reported to Public Health

Twenty-two new COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte County Public Health Branch on Wednesday.
There are currently 74 active cases in Del Norte County with as many new cases being reported in the last 14 days, according to the county’s COVID-19 Information Hub. Two people are currently in the hospital as a result of the novel coronavirus, according to the county.
Del Norte County has seen a total of 1,612 confirmed cases since the pandemic began, according to the COVID-19 Information Hub. There have been eight deaths.
Currently, 29.5 percent of Del Norte County’s population have been vaccinated, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control’s COVID Data Tracker.
