Seven new COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte County Public Health Branch on Monday.

In the last 14 days, 76 new cases have been identified in Del Norte County, according to the county's COVID-19 Information Hub. There are currently 88 active cases and two people hospitalized.

Meanwhile, Del Norte County is in Phase 1a of the state's vaccine tiers, meaning only healthcare workers in acute care, psychiatric, correctional facility hospitals and skilled nursing facilities can get the shot.

Paramedics and others providing emergency medical service, along with employees at diyalisis centers can also receive the vaccine, according to the state.
