Unknown Suspect Reportedly Shoots Vehicle Five Times With 12-Gauge Shotgun in Crescent City; Police Ask for Public's Help Gathering Information


Crescent City Police Department press release:

In the early hours of [today], the Crescent City Police Department received a “shots fired” call in the 700 block of C street.

Responding officers located a vehicle that appeared to have been shot five times in the engine compartment with bird shot from a 12-gauge shotgun. Several empty shot shells were recovered on scene.

A witness placed a male subject on scene getting into a white four-door vehicle. There were no injuries and no threats made towards anyone.

We are looking for residents in the area who may have surveillance cameras that either recorded the incident or the vehicle leaving the area.
