Christmas Light Parade & Tree Lighting Tonight!

Parade entry form

Crescent City's Christmas Light Parade is back this evening, and it's not too late to join the lineup.

All parade entries should meet at 5:45 p.m. on 7th and G streets. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. rain or shine and end at the Plaza for the lighting of Sugar Cub.

According to City Manager Eric Wier, the city's Christmas tree, named Sugar Cub in homage to the U.S. Capital Christmas Tree, Sugar Bear, came from Diane and Larry Brock, owners of the Fort Dick Pumpkin Patch.

Wier said the city worked with Councilor Beau Smith and Bob Stevens, of Stevens Ranch, to harvest Sugar Cub and bring it to the plaza for th elighting.
