Two new positive COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte Public Health Branch on Tuesday.

One patient was identified to be a close contact to a previously-known case while the other was identified to be travel related, according to Del Norte County’s COVID-19 Information Hub.

These new patients bring the number of active cases in Del Norte to seven as of Tuesday, according to the Information Hub. Del Norte County has had a total of 135 confirmed cases so far and one death.
