The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office reports that the teenagers have been found.

Last night, the DNSO received a report that two teenagers were hiking in the Klamath area near Flint Ridge and became lost. Our communications center has been in contact with the two individuals and a search is currently underway. Our most recent phone contact with the teenagers happened this morning, just before 7am. They have agreed to stay put and wait for rescue. They have indicated they are in good health and comfortable, all things considered.

The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue team has been deployed and are being assisted by the Yurok Tribal Police Department.
