Del Norte Unified School District is holding a virtual community input session on its Local Control Accountability Plan Thursday.
The Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP, is a plan for how the district will spend extra funding it receives for English language learners, foster youth, homeless students and low-income children.
District administrators are crafting an LCAP, though DNUSD Superintendent Jeff Harris told trustees that California Governor Gavin Newsom has pushed the process back to fall 2020 with a plan to be approved in December.
Meetings will be held at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday. To register for the 9 a.m. Thursday meeting, click here.
