One Hospitalized With Major Injuries After Early-Morning Rollover Crash on Highway 199

A single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 199 sent one person to the hospital with major injuries this morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident report, the crash occured north of the Caltrans Yard in Idlewild at about 2:44 a.m.

The southbound lane of Highway 199 was temprarily blocked due to the crash.

Gasquet Fire also responded and remained on scene until the roadway was cleared.
