Crescent City police arrested a 15-year-old boy who is suspected of tagging Crescent Elk Middle School, a sign at the Flynn Center, eight cars and one home.

The vandalism occurred at about 3 a.m. Thursday, CCPD Chief Richard Griffin told the Wild Rivers Outpost. The 15-year-old is the main suspect, Griffin said. Authorities are working on identifying a second suspect, he said.

Griffin said the suspect was identified by school staff, the school-resource officer knew who he was and there’s video footage of the vandalism.

“We know who they are from previous issues too,” he told the Outpost.

According to Griffin, this juvenile is linked to another tagging incident that occurred a few months ago.
