Crescent City Harbor Commemorates 60th Anniversary of 1964 Tsunami With A Festival
From the Crescent City Harbor District:
The Crescent City Harbor District is thrilled to announce the upcoming Tsunami Resiliency Festival, occurring on Saturday March 23, 2024. This festival will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1964 tsunami that profoundly impacted Crescent City. This disaster tested our resilience, but the indomitable spirit of our community shone through as Comeback Town, USA embarked on the arduous journey of rebuilding our beloved town.
In honor of this enduring and reoccurring spirit of resilience and recovery, we are excited to bring together our community for the Tsunami Resiliency Festival. This city-wide event is made possible through partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and the invaluable support of sponsors, many of whom are dedicated local non-profits.
