From a Crescent City Police Department Facebook post:

Sgt. Murtaugh was out last night and made three different stops with his handler Officer Sperling.

During the first stop of Perle Griego, (age 59), Sgt. Murtaugh alerted to the odor of narcotics and a search yielded 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

A second stop of William Dodson, (age 51), included another alert by Sgt. Murtaugh. During a search Officer Sperling located several hypodermic needles, one loaded with suspected methamphetamine, and a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine.

A third stop of Jacoby Porsche, (age 31), yielded another alert by Sgt. Murtaugh and a search that located drug paraphernalia.

All three subjects were booked at the Del Norte County Jail.

That's a good boy Sgt. Murtaugh!
