OBITUARY: Jackie Ann Zlokovich, 1956-2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jackie Ann Zlokovich, on June 16, 2024, at the age of 68.

Born on June 4, 1956, Jackie grew up in Camino and pursued a career in Child Care. She met the love of her life, Curtis, and they were married for 38 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, aunt, sister, and friend, and her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a contagious smile and a fiery spirit that radiated love and compassion.

Jackie loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings. Her nurturing, kindness, and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Curtis Zlokovich, her children AJ (Holly), Danny, and Abbey, her grandchildren Soren, JJ, Beckham, and Ameliyah, and her father Lee, and siblings Vince (Sue) and Earl. She also had many children she accepted as her own, including Carrie, Erik, Josh, and Zach, and considered them and their children family. Daycare parents and children also became family as her love, stability, and support made an immeasurable impact in the lives of many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura.

The Celebration of Life will be open to the public and held at 1:00pm on July 13th at the Arts & Crafts Building of the Fairgrounds in Crescent City, Ca. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that your time be volunteered with a local sports organization.

Jackie will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, our dear wife, mother, nana, aunt and friend.
