From the Del Norte County Roads Division:

Ocean View Drive is closed immediately north of Lopez Court due to an issue with the roadway. All addresses from 13400 block of Ocean View Drive will need to use the north entrance to Ocean View Drive at US highway. All addresses south of Lopez Court will access Ocean View from the south entrance at US 101, Mouth of Smith River Road, or N. Indian Road. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time while the County’s Engineering Division addresses the condition of the roadway. A subsequent announcement will be posted once more information is known as to how long it will take to repair the roadway.
