From a Yurok Tribe Facebook post:

The Yurok Tribe Environmental Department has received Microcystin samples back from the EPA that are above our Caution Thresholds for the Klamath River from Weitchpec to The Klamath Glen (The Roy Rook Boat Ramp).

Please be advised to be on the lookout for floating algae because it may contain Microcystin. Please use caution with your food, your loved ones, and your pets when near the river. Feel free to call Water Program Manager Matthew Hanington at 707-954-7519 with questions or concerns.
