Three new COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte Public Health Branch on Thursday.

There are currently 21 active cases in Del Norte County, according to the COVID-19 Information Hub, three more than was reported on Wednesday.

One new case was identified among Del Norte County's incarcerated population, according to the county's website. There are currently eight infected inmates at Pelican Bay State Prison, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's Population COVID-19 Tracking webpage.

Del Norte County has had a total of 883 COVID-19 cases and three deaths since the start of the pandemic. There have been 187 cases among the county's incarcerated population, according to the COVID-19 Information Hub.
