Brookings-Harbor School Board Names Superintendent


The Brookings-Harbor School Board welcomed David Marshall as its new superintendent. From the school district:

The Brookings-Harbor School Board is pleased to announce and welcome Mr. David Marshall as the new superintendent of the district effective July 1, 2020.

According to board chair, Alan Nidiffer, “Mr. Marshall brings a wealth of experiences and skills to the superintendent position. The board and I look forward to creating a unique partnership with our new superintendent that results in greater student success for each child in the Brookings-Harbor school district.”

David is currently the assistant superintendent/human resources director at Hermiston School District in Hermiston, Oregon. He has 12 years of administrative experience in education including seven years as an assistant superintendent and student services director in the Milton-Freewater school system. His education specialist’s degree was earned from Lewis and Clark College.

“My family and I are excited about joining the Brookings-Harbor community,” stated David Marshall. “We met many outstanding, dedicated staff and community members during the superintendent search process. We are honored to join these outstanding educators and parents in pursuit of educational excellence for their students.”

The Brookings-Harbor school board is pleased to have Mr. Marshall as our new superintendent and look forward to many successful years working together.
