COVID-19 Update: 11 New Cases Reported In Del Norte County

Del Norte Public Health officials have identified 11 new COVID-19 cases, the agency reported Tuesday.

There are currently 115 active cases in Del Norte County, according to the county's COVID-19 Information Hub. Two people are hospitalized. There have been two deaths in Del Norte County since the start of the pandemic, according to the Information Hub.

Meanwhile, no new cases were identified among the inmates at Pelican Bay State Prison on Tuesday, according to the Public Health Branch. There are currently 76 active cases among the prison population, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's COVID-19 Tracking web page.
