Yurok Tribe Releases Unofficial Election Results
The Yurok Tribe released the unofficial results from its runoff election on Wednesday.
With 57.81 percent of the vote, Mindy Marie Natt will continue to represent the Pecwan District on the Yurok Tribal Council, according to the results. Meanwhile, Lori L. Hodge, who received 59.78 percent of the vote, will represent the tribe’s East District, according to a news release from the tribe.
Natt’s opponent, Julia Magee-Snyder, received 42.19 percent of the vote Wednesday, according to the Yurok Tribe. Hodge’s opponent, Joe O’Rourke, received 40.22 percent of the vote, according to the tribe.
The tribe’s election board will meet Tuesday to certify the election results, according to the release.
