Memoirs of an Ewok: Star Wars Actor Revisits the Redwoods, Asks for Help Finding Photos of Smith River and Crescent City for Upcoming Book

Help, Star Wars fans. You're this Ewok actors only hope.

Kevin Thompson, known for his role as one of the Ewoks in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," recently revisited California's North Coast (the filming locatoin for the forest moon of Endor) while working on his memoir.

The Humboldt-Del Norte Commision shared sevral photos of Thompson visiting their office on social meida yesterday, and put our the call for anyone with photos of Smith River or Crescent City from 1982 to kindly share them for Thompson's book.

"Today our office I had a special visitor," the film comission wrote on Facebook. "We've been helping him out with a little bit of research for his upcoming memoir. We've had a bit of a problem finding photos for him of Smith River and Crescent City from 1982 when they were filming Return of the Jedi. So, we'd like to ask the public to help us crowdsource some photos for Kevin. If you have a photo that you think would be what he's looking for, please email nate@hdnfc.org.
