Crescent City’s city clerk faces drunk driving charges after she allegedly hit a pole near Harding Avenue and Northcrest Drive on Saturday.

Robin Altman, 53, who was booked into the Del Norte County Jail as Robin Patch, was traveling Westbound on Harding Avenue when she hit the pole, Crescent City Police Chief Richard Griffin told the Wild Rivers Outpost. Altman parked her car and walked to her home about two blocks away, Griffin said.

CCPD officers arrested Patch at her home on suspicion of driving under the influence, Griffin said. She was booked into the jail and released on Sunday.
