I wanted to make sure that you all received an invite (if you haven't already) to the Launch & Celebration Dinner that the Klamath Promise Neighborhood (KPN) backbone team under the Yurok Education dept will be hosting at the fairgrounds on June 23rd from 6-8pm.

For those who are not aware, True North has been a key partner in supporting the initial planning and implementation efforts over the last 1.5 years for the Klamath Promise Neighborhood Initiative whose primary goal is to bring the whole community together to work on solutions and build off already existing good work in the areas of Early Learning, K-12th grade, Career and Technical Education, and Community Services & Engagement.

Some of you have already been involved in this work as community partners and leaders, while others may need more info and might have questions about this initiative. Attending this dinner will be your chance to celebrate the work over the last 1.5 years if you've already been involved and if you haven't been involved, this is your chance to get oriented to what the opportunities are for you to get more involved with or be supportive of the overall efforts of this initiative.
