CCPD Obtains Arrest Warrant Connected With Suspected Abduction of 14-year-old Crescent City Girl

The Crescent City Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for a 39-year-old man who is suspected of abducting his 14-year-old stepdaughter, Katuana Whisenant, nine months ago.

Santos Flores-Roman is wanted on suspicion of child abduction, according to a CCPD Facebook post on Friday. The police department obtained the arrest warrant on Thursday after receiving new information from the FBI during interviews in the Santa Rosa area.

Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol issued an endangered and missing child advisory in Tehama, Shasta and Siskiyou counties in connection with Whisenant's abduction, according to a Yurok Tribe news release Friday.

Whisenant was last seen on July 23, 2021 and is currently believed to be with her stepfather, according to the Yurok Tribe.

Whisenant is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Yurok Tribe.

Flores-Roman is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

They were last seen driving a 1993 silver Toyota Corolla with the license plate 3FKR698. People are asked to call 911 if they see them.
