DNACA Seeks Artists for Annual Veterans Exhibit

The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness is seeking veteran artists to take part in its annual exhibit at the Del Norte County Courthouse.

From a DNACA news release:

DNACA is happy to announce that we are currently seeking artists for our Annual Art by Veterans exhibit. This exhibit, made up of artwork created by veterans and their family members, will be displayed at the Del Norte County Courthouse from Aug 19 - October 7. There is no entry fee for artists.

We are accepting all artwork that can be hung safely on the wall. In the past, we have exhibited framed paintings, drawings, photographs, and even driftwood sculptures! All art must be already wired for hanging (in a manner similar to the attached picture), which can be done yourself, or at Wright’s Custom Framing for a small fee. Small “sawtooth” hangers will not work with our style of hanging rods that we use to display the artwork.

Please see the attached flyer for all details, and please reach out to me if you have questions! We also appreciate you forwarding this to your fiends who may be veterans or family members of veterans, so they might participate as well.

We look forward to seeing some wonderful art next month!
