Elk Valley Casino Closes Temporarily Due to COVID-19


Elk Valley Casino will close starting midnight Wednesday:

In consideration of recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and requests from both federal and state governments, the Elk Valley Rancheria, California, a federally recognized Indian tribe, has decided to temporarily close the Elk Valley Caisno beginning at midnight (11:59 p.m. Pacific Time) on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

The timeframe of the closure is until March 31, 2020 (the "Closure) pending reevaluation at the end fo the closure period. All scheduled promotions are cancelled.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, guests, tribal members and the community are always our top priority.

We stand with federal, state, local and tribal officials nationwide in a unified response to this national public health emergency.

We will closely monitor updates about the Coronavirus outbreak from the Centeres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and Del Norte County health officials. We will keep our loyal guests and team members updated about this temporary closure, including any change in the date of our reopening, through our website and social media channels.

During the Closure, all team members will be paid and receive benefits. We deeply appreciate the understanding of our guests and team members during these unprecedented times.
